Job Description
Design, develop and implement Store Procedures, Functions and other artifacts in TSQL for data migration from staging area to EDWÂ
Design, develop and implement the ETL process using SSIS, including data quality and testing
Design, develop and implement SSAS cubes for various business functionsÂ
Implement security requirements for the SSAS cubes using role-based or dimensional basedÂ
Create/maintain project documentation to successfully implement IT-based solutions including: Project PlansÂ
Functional/Technical Design documentsÂ
Develop Training materials focused on end-users for various business functionsÂ
Assist in the install and configuration of various MS-SQL BI infrastructure, utilizing referenced project documentationÂ
Qualifications
10+ years of experience related to Microsoft BI development using SSASÂ
5+ years of experience in writing T-SQL scripts on various versions of SQL server
5+ years of experience with complete SDLC lifecycle in this area, including but not limited to requirements gathering, data analysis, design, development, QA, deploymentÂ
3+ years of experience related to SSIS for data integration/ETL technologiesÂ
3+ years of design and development experience in SSRSÂ
3+ years of experience in using SSMS for design of tables, views, common table expressions, foreign key constraints, and stored proceduresÂ
2+ years of experience in SQL server 2012 is required, SQL server 2014 is preferredÂ
2+ years of experience in MDX, DAX language is highly requiredÂ
Exposure to Power BI and Tabular reporting is preferredÂ
Ability to accurately estimate the ETL and Data Architecture components of data integration, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Reporting and Data Warehouse delivery projectsÂ
Strong analytical, attention to detail, organizational and core project management skills.Â
Strong teamwork, communication and customer service skills.
