About the Role:

Rue Gilt Groupe is seeking an innovative and business-minded Manager, Business Analytics to lead the analytical strategy across key customer engagement channels. In this role, you will be the dedicated analytics owner for our Paid Retargeting and Winback marketing programs, transforming complex datasets into executive-ready strategic insights that drive measurable revenue growth. 

 You will sit at the intersection of marketing strategy, technology, and data science—collaborating closely across the broader Marketing team, technology partners, and external vendors. Key Responsibilities:

• Program Analytics Ownership: Serve as the lead analytics owner for both the Paid Retargeting and Winback marketing programs, defining measurement strategy, incrementality testing, and performance optimization. 
• Uplevel Complex Analyses: Synthesize multi-channel datasets into clear, actionable stories, executive dashboards, and strategic recommendations that directly influence marketing investments. 
• Understand Business Context & Drive Innovation: Connect data directly to underlying business models, identifying growth opportunities and pioneering new approaches to customer lifecycle optimization. 
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively across internal teams, including Marketing, Data Engineering, and Tech, as well as external platform vendors to improve attribution, data architecture, and campaign effectiveness. 
• Embrace AI & Modern Workflows: Bring a strong AI curiosity to test and integrate novel AI tools, automated analytical workflows, and generative techniques into daily reporting and exploratory research. 

Experience and Background Needed:

• Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to translate complex statistical outputs into high-level business narratives for non-technical leadership. 
• Forward-Looking Mindset: Active curiosity around emerging AI tools and automation capabilities to enhance analytical speed and insight discovery. 
• Collaborative Attitude: Strong communication skills with a track record of building cross-departmental alignment and managing external partner relations. 
• BA/BS in a quantitative field (Marketing, Economics, Mathematics, etc.).
• 4+ years of experience in business analytics, marketing analytics, or data-driven strategy (preferably within e-commerce, digital retail, or direct-to-consumer environments). AdTech/Digital Paid Media background a plus. 
• Strong statistical foundation, including hands-on experience with A/B testing, attribution methods, and MMM/MTA modeling. 
• Advanced SQL skills for querying, data manipulation, and building robust analytical models. 
• Deep experience with Tableau (or equivalent BI tools such as Looker or Power BI) for designing interactive visualizations and executive reports. 
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
