Pratt & Whitney (P&W) Digital Technology team is seeking a high-energy individual to join our Engineering Applications team where you will have the opportunity to design and set forward direction for MBSE systems in support of the engineering community and P&W’s Model Based Systems Engineering environments and Integrated Digital Environment (IDE). You will be part of a highly collaborative team responsible for delivery of Product and Application Support to our customers and partners.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work as a developer to deliver and execute global MBSE/IDE requirements in support of world class system availability and performance.
  • Partner with engineering MBSE/IDE discipline team and third-party resources to complete development requirements on the Pratt enterprise IDE
  • Develop code in alignment with our Pratt PLM/MBSE DevSecOps processes; help in growing DevSecOps overall for our MBSE and IDE platforms
  • Participate in standups, planning sessions, reviews, demos, etc as coordinated by the Project Manager
  • Consulting with Engineering customers to advise on key MBSE/IDE product and configuration challenges.
  • Advise on enterprise MBSE/IDE integration solutions to enable end-to-end data connectivity across the organization.
  • Help with deployment of application performance monitoring tools to improve the performance and reliability of MBSE systems
  • Participate on the MBSE/IDE Interdisciplinary Program Management Team to provide technical expertise and maintain project continuity and communicate deployment plans. 
  • Assist with P&W MBSE/IDE roadmap including technologies and industry best practices.
  • Experience designing and implementing automated solutions

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree (required) and 10 years’ experience; or, Master’s Degree (preferred) and 7 years’ experience.  Preferred fields include Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related business discipline(s).

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience of 3DExperience and Cameo Systems Modeler (CATIA No Magic) development including; code development for customizations, configuration updates, system administration, architecture design, application integration, product road mapping, delivery and support of code 
  • Ability to design and implement solutions for 3DExperience and Cameo Systems Modeler (CATIA No Magic)
  • Possess exceptional written and oral communication skills, can develop clear, concise and logically written business communications, as well as deliver recommendations
  • Proven track record communicating within cross-functional team of technical resources, QA, and engineers
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working in a complex, service-intensive, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships to leverage information and insights across key groups.
  • Strong personal leadership, organizational, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Outstanding formal and informal presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with self-confidence, enthusiasm, and strong customer service orientation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency using 3DExperience and Cameo Systems Modeler (CATIA No Magic) APIs
  • Development experience with integration tools such as ProStep OpenPDM
  • Highly skilled at analyzing business process and seeing opportunities for digital solutions
  • Experience working in SDLC, Waterfall, or Agile program structures
  • Good communication skills, work ethic and a high level of personal integrity and accountability
  • Willingness to learn new technologies & take on new projects to grow experience
  • Highly self-directed and able to learn quickly with a solid ability to drive and deliver results
  • Strong analytical skills, demonstrated organizational and leadership skills, examples of effective teamwork, a track record of consistently meeting deadlines and due dates
  • You're comfortable working with minimal daily supervision and to balance numerous priorities
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
