We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Test Engineer, supporting one of our premier programs in our Mission Solutions business unit.  In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products and your knowledge with regards to developing plans and procedures, debugging and evaluating system functions and interfaces, developing test environments, and working hand-in-hand with our integration teams and customers will be put to good use. The work is on-site in Aurora, CO.

What You Will Do

• In this role, you will work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions. 

• Conduct integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART) team

• Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to drive solutions to closure

• Develop automated test scripts and execute them

• Troubleshooting and debugging issues

• Work in an Agile program environment

• Active DoD TS to Start with Ability to Obtain Special Access

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience

• Experience with systems integration and test for a software product in an Agile environment, including regression testing, test scripting, and/or test automation tools

• Experience with hands-on Integration and Test engineering

• Experience troubleshooting and debugging a software-based system or product

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD TS is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with test automation tools (Cucumber, Gherkin)

• Experience working within a CI/CD environment, Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment

• Experience in project domain (e.g., mission management ground systems, space-based platforms)

• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), Experience with Java, C++, Python, Perl, Linux operating system, Cloud environments

• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of resources (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
