The Advanced Tactical EOIR Pod area is seeking a Systems Engineer with experience with embedded computing systems to work on our pod Integration and Test team.
 

What You Will Do 

• Configure and integrate ruggedized VPX based embedded processor units within our tactical network.
• Integrate rack-mounted high performance processing systems with our software development environment.
• Benchmark testing of processor units.
• General troubleshooting at the hardware/software interface for tactical units.  
   

Qualifications You Must Have

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

• Ability to function as member of agile team
• Hands-on experience with integration and test of high-performance computing systems
• Experience with Linux Operating systems.
• Experience writing test scripts for system benchmarking.
• Experience with MATLAB coding for data analysis
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance."

Qualifications We Prefer

• Ability to configure network switches for LANS and VLANS
• Software development experience in C++
• Work experience as Systems Engineer
• Master’s degree in engineering. 
• Existing DOD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Special Access clearance.

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
• Part time 24-30 hours per week.
• Flexible schedule, 3 days/week initially

This is a temporary position of an undetermined length.

The salary range for this role is $65.87 to $122.74.  The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
