We are looking for a college student majoring in computer science or computer engineering to join our team! If you love working on a collaborative, fast-paced team and are hoping to find an opportunity where you can flex your communication skills across various teams and platforms, this could be the ideal role for you! The identified co-op student will assist in everyday software engineering activities, and may use/gain experience with Visual Studio, VB.Net, C#, .Net 4.5 or greater, Java, Python, Powershell, Git, SVN/Subversion, SQL Server, or Oracle.

Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session that will run from June-December 2025 (this includes the Fall semester; it is expected that students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

What You Will Do:

• Assist in everyday engineering activities while working with engineers and management at all levels.
• Assist in software requirements management processes.
• Assist in software development and testing.
• Assist in software development area by replicating application issues.
• Tracking data for analysis and performing basic trouble shooting.
• Assist in development of solutions or workarounds for unresolved defects.
• Assist in the development of software documentation.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Qualifications We Prefer:

•  Relational Database concepts
•  Coding experience with VB.Net, C#, and/or Java
•  Experience with Visual Studio IDE

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
