In this role, the Project Manager – Projects will be responsible for leading and managing the lifecycle and operational aspects of a project for an electronic product/system of Actuation Systems. Shall work alongside the project Lead for successful execution of a project.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead an engineering project to meet the time, cost, and scope requirements.
- Monitor and control the project cost and schedule.
- Develop a project plan in Microsoft project application and monitor the progress of a project through various project metrics.
- Establish and lead project review cadence at all levels of organizational hierarchy.
- Establish governance strategy for a project/program.
- Collaborate with team members, project lead (IPTL), counterparts, manufacturing, customers, and suppliers to execute programs/projects with Synergy.
- Support Supply chain team to meet procurement targets for the project.
- Lead customer, supplier, and internal meetings.
- Have broad knowledge of Aerospace standards/procedures/protocols to meet customer requirements.
- Responsible for tactical/operational execution of day-to-day operations.
- Work with project lead to assign technical resources and resolve technical issues.
- Drive predictable project performance and enhance productivity.
Basic and preferred Qualifications:
- 11 to 13 years of Industry experience in executing, leading and managing projects related to electronics product/systems.
- BE/B-tech/MTech in Electronics/electrical discipline
- Strong Project/program management skills.
- Strong communication, writing and decision-making skills along with interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge/understanding of product qualification based on DO-160 or equivalent industry standard.
- Electronic product design background & technical leadership experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of DO-178 and DO-254 is an added advantage.
- Awareness of Agile/Scrum is an added advantage.
- ALM/PLM Kanban method would be advantage
- Expertise in NPI and related Development Life Cycle activities.
