Who We Are:

At RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, 185,000 great minds are united by purpose and inspired to make a difference solving the world’s most complex problems. With our three market leading businesses, world-class operations and investments in research and development, we offer capabilities and opportunity no one else can. Together, we push the boundaries of known science and find new ways to connect and protect our world.

Pratt & Whitney is a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary power systems and has been revolutionizing modern flight for over 100 years. Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.

Why join our team?

You will collaborate with a team of specialists and report to the Senior Manager, Data Science & Advanced Analytics, Global Operations. This team includes several branches (data governance, data science, solution delivery, AI lab).

In this role, you will work closely with Operations business units and the Digital Technology team to implement and support data science, analytics and digital solutions related to data that improve efficiency, reliability, and decision-making in operations.

You will join a team that applies industry best practices in data science and engineering — from structured development workflows in Azure DevOps, to version control, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines. We believe in doing things the right way, the first time: clean, reproducible code, strong documentation, and collaborative reviews are at the core of how we work.

By joining our multidisciplinary team of data scientists, data analysts, and software developers, you will contribute to projects that directly support manufacturing, logistics, maintenance, and operational performance. You’ll also develop your skills in data storytelling, presentation, and solution delivery, ensuring that analytics translate into measurable improvements for our colleagues.

With our modern tech stack — including Databricks, Spark, Azure DevOps, Power BI, Python, and SQL — you’ll work in an environment where innovation, collaboration, and professionalism are at the heart of everything we do.

The position is based in India, Monday to Friday, currently with hybrid work arrangement.

What You Will Do:

  •  Design, deploy, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports (e.g., in Power BI) to support data-driven decision-making and improve business unit performance
  • Design, deploy, and maintain data flows and pipelines to improve the efficiency of reporting, data products, and analytics solutions
  • Collect, clean, and transform data from multiple sources to ensure high-quality, reliable datasets
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
  • Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytics solutions
  • Deliver data storytelling and presentations that clearly communicate insights to non-technical audiences
  • Apply basic statistical and machine learning techniques when needed to support forecasting or optimization projects with our data scientists
  • Practice disciplined software engineering (e.g., automated testing, code reviews, and writing pragmatic code) and write technical documentation

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years of experience in data science, analytics, business intelligence, statistics, computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • Master’s degree in data science, analytics, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, or a related field
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, and best practices for building trust in analytics
  • Proven programming skills — Python, Spark, SQL
  • Knowledge of software and platforms — Databricks, Power BI, Azure DevOps, Git, Confluence
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies

Shift: EST (4:30 PM to 1:30 AM)
