Actuation Systems Aftermarket, Bangalore is looking for a Data Science & Analyst to join our team. In this role, the Lead Engineer (Data Analytics) will be responsible for support the Field data analysis and other Data Analytics activities related to various Actuation Systems product lines including Power Door Opening System (PDOS), Thrust Reverser Actuation Systems (TRAS), Highlift Flap/Slat Actuation systems, and various electronic controller assemblies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Development, deployment, and support of statistical models to provide forecasting, prediction and prescriptive solutions that can be embedded into our workflows
• Understand and interpret the MRO Field data / FRACAS / Reliability Techniques and analyze the data to meaningful data outputs
• Responsible for SAP data extraction from various MRO sites and creation of ATA Spec 2000 Reliability Data Feed
• Perform analytical studies to provide business insight and enable better data-based decisions and leverage aftermarket data to provide insights
• Define, prototype, test, deploy and monitor statistical models to provide predictions and forecasts
• Develop Tableau dashboards with Alteryx workflows
• Build Tableau and Power BI dashboards
• Understand, explain, and recommend appropriate Machine Learning/Data Analytics methods and software solutions
• Must have ability to read and interpret ATP's/Test Reports/Strip or Repair Reports/Field Reports
• Strong knowledge on interpreting CMMs/AMMs/PL's/Drawings
• Generate Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly reports on the above data and support in various reliability activities, as and when required.
• Mentor and train less experienced team members
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and need to be self-directed, flexible, proactive.

Basic Qualifications:

• B.E. degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering and working knowledge on Data Science and Analytics with 4+ years of experience
• Excellent in working on Tableau, Alteryx tools and Microsoft excel
• Hands on experience in developing Python scripts and should be good in VBA in MS tools
• Experience in developing Tableau / Power BI dashboards
• Experience with Databricks will be added advantage.
