 Essential Responsibilities:

· At least 11+ years of hands on experience in Systems/Software development and verification.
· Strong understanding of SDLC; Agile mythologies in general and expertise in the following.
- Software Development using C/C++, Python
- Verification and DO178B and C
· Strong understanding of Configuration Management and Change Control Process.
· Experience in Low level SW modules like BOOT, BSP,Data Loader.. and protocols like AFDX, I2C would be added advantage
· Working knowledge of conventional code development
· Working Knowledge of following tools/processes
- DOORs,JIRA or similar requirements management tool
- Clearquest, PREP/similar tool and review process
- Configuration management and source code control tools and process
- Automated testing and writing test scripts
· Hands on experience/ability in handling multiple teams and projects. Should be able to guide
and mentor the team technically.
· Strong Project Management skills
· Ability to work and meet stringent project deadlines.
 

Job responsibilities:
· May be considered a specialist in a specific software area or generalist in multiple software
areas and recognized in their organization.
· Technically responsible and contributes to at least one activity in a program/project.
· Self directed and provides guidance to team members.
· Significant domain knowledge of products and systems in assigned area.
· Plan, analyze, design, test and document software/systems of high complexity and contribute
to system integration, Understand, utilize, and improve internal processes and tools for the
development of software.
· Decisions may have significant impact on cost, schedule, and technical performance.
· Act as a mentor to more junior engineers in additional areas including project planning and
execution. Generate engineering estimates on complex software designs.
· Estimate, track, and report project costs and schedules. May lead cross-functional/domain
teams in a Project Engineering role.
