Raytheon Technologies (RTX) is looking for a Scrum Master for the Software Infrastructure (SWI) Team located in Richardson TX. The ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of the Scrum framework, with all its artifacts and techniques. They will have a background in DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) to coordinate people resources and program projects (occasionally facilitating changes) focused on program deliverables. We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer – Scrum Master to work in our Richardson, TX location.

What You Will Do

• You will utilize your Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience to leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with deployment, implementation, modernization, and support of infrastructure solutions
• You will Manage the project’s scope and timeline, Coordinate sprints, meetings, and daily stand-ups in an Agile framework environment
• You will work to resolve conflicts by removing obstacles that occur during product development and be the primary point of contact for external communications
• You will utilize your knowledge of various Agile frameworks (SAFe, SCRUM, Kanban, XP etc.) to execute to plan
• You will assist with development of build/test pipeline and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premises computing environments
• You will assist engineers with tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics and 3-5 years of related work experience
• Experience in a Scrum Master role
• Experience with Implementing Scaled Agile Frameworks
• Experience with automation tools/frameworks such as: Ansible, Chef, and/or Terraform
• An Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required on Day 1. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

• Scrum Master certification is a plus (must work towards attaining certification within 120 days)
• Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. Scrum, SAFe)
• Knowledge and familiarity with Git/Jenkins
• Experience with Containerization
• Experience with code repository systems (E.g. ClearCase, Bit Bucket)
• General working knowledge of networks, storage, and virtualization
• Experience working with DOD or other government agencies

• Knowledge and familiarity with Atlassian tool suite, such as: Jira and Confluence
• Experience with infrastructure development/deployment
• Willing to work on-site as part of highly diverse team

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
