We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate DevSecOps Engineer to help design, develop and enhance software factory platforms that enable secure and efficient software delivery.

Launch your career as a Graduate DevSecOps Engineer and work alongside experienced professionals to build, secure and enhance modern software delivery platforms. Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Less than two years' experience in software design, development and testing, gained through employment, internships, university projects or other practical experience.

• Experience developing in an object-oriented programming language such as C++, C#, Java, Objective-C or Rust.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Government (Defence) Security Clearance up to NV1. Further information on eligibility requirements is available at www.defence.gov.au/agsva.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Experience integrating tools and technologies to deliver end-to-end solutions or composite capabilities.

• Exposure to cloud technologies and containerised environments, including Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of Agile development practices and frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban or paired programming.

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, including source control, automated testing, code quality and deployment tools.

• Experience working in Linux-based environments.

• Familiarity with software design principles, UML modelling and design patterns.

• Experience with unit testing, end-to-end testing, Test-Driven Development (TDD), static code analysis and code coverage tools.

• Knowledge of source code management tools such as Git and GitLab, including branching and version control practices.

• Previous experience within the Defence industry or a related environment.
