Join Collins Aerospace as a DevSecOps Engineer. We’re looking to create a pipeline of passionate professionals, like you, to accept a high level of responsibility within a fast-paced, dynamic, and innovative environment. In this role you will support the development of a DevSecOps system integration lab pipeline to automate and optimize the development and deployment process of complex military avionics systems.  

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. Candidate must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered. 

What YOU will do:

  • Design and developing of the DevSecOps pipeline will involve:
    • Research and selection of modern tooling.
    • Integrate tooling, apps, and scripts into the development pipeline.
    • Research and selection of technologies to enable automation and increase flow.
    • Develop small applications and scripts to support integration and flow of software updates.
    • Create framework to automate test, deployment, and delivery of software.

Qualifications you must have:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 12 months to 5 years of prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 5-9 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Software Development experience.
  • Knowledge of programming and scripting languages (C, C++, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Bash, etc.).
  • Direct experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot tool and system operation performance issues.
  • Exposure to public cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.) infrastructure environments.
  • Experience with code repository systems (E.g. ClearCase, Bit Bucket, Artifactory).
  • Experience with one or more of the following tools:  Docker, Ansible GitLab, Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, Prometheus, Terraform, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • Experience with Linux System Administration.
  • Experience with Database Management.
  • General working knowledge of networks, storage, and virtualization.
