We are seeking for a Data Visualization Engineer.

Job Title:

Associate Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis and Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and define key metrics and KPIs.
• Report and Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights and data visualizations.
• Data Integration: Connect to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, etc.) and ensure seamless data integration and transformation using Power Query and Dataflows.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance, ensuring they are responsive and efficient.
• Data Modeling: Create and manage data models, including relationships, calculated columns, and measures using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
• Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of reports to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Power BI solutions, including user guides and technical specifications.
• User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to help them effectively use Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve and innovate reporting solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in Power BI development or a similar role.-
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Report Server.
  • Strong experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and data modeling.
  • Experience with data integration tools and techniques (e.g., Power Query, SQL).
  • Familiarity with data visualization best practices and principles.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Certifications: Power BI Certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other BI tools or platforms (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and services.
• Experience with advanced analytics or machine learning integrations in Power BI.
