As a Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager at Mars you will manage sourcing categories for indirect goods and services at a regional and sometimes at a global level. The primary focus will be on strategy creation/planning, and execution to deliver long term competitive advantage by maximizing value for money and protecting the business. You will also manage regional and some global initiatives by leveraging supplier relationships and strategic partnerships to drive standardization across both regions and segments.

What are we looking for?

• 5 years of experience with supplier/customer management.
• A passion for driving value for our business by leveraging various sourcing channels.
• Bachelors degree at a minimum.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• You will develop and execute sourcing strategies using the Mars framework and the appropriate tools for the market category.
• Actively participate as a member of the Global Category Team and establishes/maintains working relationships with the category operational buying managers in the region.
• Develop and implement regional/global contracts and related Service Level Agreements including securing price, volume rebates, capacity, and service levels.
• Build sourcing category expertise to provide market and financial insights and inputs to the operating plan.
