Job Description:

As a Sr. Manager- Category Lead- Peanuts (Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager) at Mars you will manage sourcing categories for direct materials at a global and regional level . The primary focus will be on strategy creation/planning, and execution to deliver long term competitive advantage by maximizing value for money and protecting the business. You will also manage regional and some global initiatives by leveraging supplier relationships and strategic partnerships to drive standardization across both regions and segments.

What are we looking for?

• 5 years of experience with supplier/customer management.
• A passion for driving value for our business by leveraging various sourcing channels.
• Bachelors degree at a minimum.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• You will develop and execute sourcing strategies using the Mars framework and the appropriate tools for the market category.
• Actively participate as a member of the Global Category Team and establishes/maintains working relationships with the category operational buying managers in the region.
• Develop and implement regional/global contracts and related Service Level Agreements including securing price, volume rebates, capacity, and service levels.
• Build sourcing category expertise to provide market and financial insights and inputs to the operating plan.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.  Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate).  Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
