The role of the SAP BTP Platform Senior architect will focus on designing and implementing robust and scalable solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform, enabling SAP BTP to its full potential. These solutions will be well-integrated, secure, efficient, and aligned with the business objectives, driving digital transformation and innovation within the organization.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science - or equivalent in experience.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP BTP services and capabilities, including SAP Application Development and Automation, SAP Analytics Cloud and Datasphere, SAP Integration Suite and SAP AI technologies.
• 2-3+ years of experience designing and implementing integration solutions in a global organization.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices, including cloud architecture, scalability, reliability, security, and cost optimization.
• Experience with deploying and managing cloud-based applications and services. Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, agile development practices, and CI/CD pipelines for automating software delivery and deployment.
• SAP Technical Architecture Certification preferred.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Work closely with stakeholders including business representatives, project teams, partners and vendors to architect and design the platforms to support the enabling of services in the SAP Business Technology Platform
• To liaise with other platform and solution architects to build the solutions on SAP BTP align with the Mars business strategy and requirements, ensuring adherence to Mars security standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Establish and enforce standards, guidelines, and best practices for developing and deploying solutions on SAP BTP.
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP BTP components with existing SAP systems (like SAP S/4HANA) and third-party applications.
• Provide advanced support for architectural-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems as they arise.
