What is the opportunity?
As a Business Process Engineer within Wealth Management Technology & Solutions, you will build innovative BPM solutions that accelerate digital transformation across RBC Wealth Management.  As Business Process Engineer (Sr Software Developer), you will partner with key stakeholders in Technology, Operations and Business to assess, analyze and recommend process solutions to meet sponsor needs.  You will design, develop and integrate process of end-to-end technical solutions and provide required technical documentation (IDD, TDD, and Architecture).  You will add value by providing in-depth research & knowledge of the system and latest Pega features (Low Code, COSMOS UI) available to inform design for scalable process management solutions that leverage reusable and configurable components for low code, agile delivery. The individual taking on this role has experience specific to the Pega 8.X.
                                                 
What will you do?

  • Citizen Low code development to meet business needs, maximizing component reusability, data sharing and security

  • Lead analysis through problem elicitation, solution proposal , technical design phases, identifying, tracking and resolving issues

  • Prepare detailed process flow specifications and unit/scenario test plans

  • Develop technical/Configuration solutions using App Studio

  • Develop & execute unit Scenario test plans on Pega automation framework

  • Complete technical/Functional documentation and training material. Coordinate implementation, planning and execution from preproduction through to production stages

  • Work collaboratively with Solution Architects, Functional Leads and Technical Leads to design the solution for a specific functional area. Work with business stakeholder(s) on refining and prioritizing scope for each delivery cycle.

  • Develops and presents technical solution alternatives along with recommendations to business stakeholders, executives and senior management

  • Determines the best mix of standard functionality, configuration and custom development, interfacing applications and third party vendor solutions to meet business requirements and project objectives 

 
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science preferred

  • Minimum of 4 years for technical experience within specific domain of knowledge.

  • Pega 8.x, Pega DX API, SQL Server, IBM Open shift cloud, Microsoft SQL Server & RPA

  • Preferred Pega Certified PCBA or PCSA is must and having experience in Pega V8 Low Code Factory will be an advantage

  • Demonstrated experience with Java/J2EE/HTML development

Nice to Have

  • Strong communication skills with both business stakeholders and technical teams

  • Has worked in a financial institution environment; Wealth Management preferred
