We're looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. You'll play a crucial role in delivering innovative integration solutions for our Commercial Banking Platforms, utilizing cutting-edge technologies. This is an exciting chance to contribute to high-impact projects within an Agile environment, where you will get to shape the future of our application platforms and collaborate with talented individuals.
What will you do?
As a Java Backend Developer, you'll be responsible for:
Designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable integration solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
Building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices to support our business platforms.
Working collaboratively within an Agile team, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Creating containerized applications for deployment on OpenShift.
Ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of our backend systems.
Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
What do you need to Succeed?
Must-Have:
8+ years of experience in backend development.
Strong working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
Extensive experience with REST APIs and designing Microservices Architecture.
Experience working with Databases as part of building APIs (Oracle, PostGreSQL etc)
Experience working with Messaging Technology (E.g. Kafka)
Proven ability to build containerized applications
Exposure to Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/OpenShift/GCP)
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with BPMN technologies (Camunda)
Proficiency in Python
Experience with front-end technologies like Angular or React
Usage experience with AI Code Assistant (GitHub Co-Pilot or Similar)
