Lead Integration Engineer

What will you do?

• Working as part of a multi-discipline agile engineering pod
• Designing and coding application programs; performing testing for developed applications.
• Reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale system.
• Ensuring the operating efficiency of existing application systems. Maintaining records for the documentation of systems development and revisions.
• Conducting analyses of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.
• Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Haves

• 7+ years' experience in Front end frameworks (Angular)
• API Development language and frameworks, such as Java/SpringBoot
• Hands on experience with designing and implementing unit test both front end and backend programming languages
• Relational database (PosgreSQL, Oracle, for example) and/or document database (MongoDB), Data modelling, data query (SQL, e.g.) and ETL.
• Agile methodology such as Scrum, SAFe and Kanban

Nice to have

• JavaScript/HTML/CSS/JSON
• Experience building REST API, hands on experience with API gateway such as Apigee.
• Integration technology and frameworks such as Apache Camel, Kafka, MQ, JMS and Spring Integration.
