Data Analyst

Job Description

Looking for a Data Analyst to support reporting, automation and dashboarding across our current on-premise Citrix Virtualization environments and soon on Windows 365 CloudPC across the Azure environment. This role focuses on data extraction, transformation, and visualization with exposure to automation and familiarity with Devops tools.

What will you do?

• ​Build and maintain reports using PowerShell Scripting and Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data handling)

• Strong SQL data extraction and reporting (joins, aggregations, group, filtering and data transformation)

• Extract data using REST API from ServiceNow, Microsoft Graph API from Microsoft Intune and Entra.

• Build dashboards using Tableau. Kibana dashboard

• Use GitHub and Visual Studio Code for version control and development

• Familiarity with developing and running Python scripts (modifying existing code, using RBC's AI tooling where helpful)

• Experience with automation workflows on CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Helios, Terraform is a plus.

• Create and document procedures, ServiceNow Knowledge Articles and Internal RBC Connect Web Pages related to the solutions we support

What you need to succeed?

Must Haves:

• Advance experience with Visual Studio Or PowerShell Scripting

• Advanced Excel experience (pivot tables, formulas, data handling)

• Strong SQL 

• Basic Python (can read/edit scripts; not expected to build complex systems)

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to GitHub and Visual Studio Code

• Willingness to use AI tools like GitHub Copilot

• Knowledgeable with REST APIs and familiarity with Microsoft Graph API is a plus
