What is the Opportunity?

Join RBC’s Client & Banking division as a AI Engineer, where you’ll design and deploy AI-driven solutions leveraging large language models (LLMs) and intelligent workflow automation. Focus on high-impact areas: Client Analytics, Deal Analytics, and Document Processing. This role combines AI innovation with banking expertise to enhance client experiences and streamline operations.
 

What Will You Do?

• Client Analytics: Build systems that use LLMs to analyze client data, delivering personalized insights, churn predictions, and tailored product recommendations.

• Deal Analytics: Develop automated workflows to process deal-related documents, extract critical terms, assess risks, and generate actionable summaries for stakeholders.

• Document Processing: Create end-to-end pipelines to ingest, understand, and act on unstructured data (e.g., contracts, emails, financial reports) using NLP and machine learning.

• Optimize LLM performance through techniques like retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and integration with RBC’s data ecosystems.

• Collaborate with product teams to deploy scalable, user-centric AI solutions across banking platforms.

What Do You Need to Succeed?
 

Must-Have:

• 3+ years of experience with Python and experience with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain  Face, OpenAI API) and NLP tools.

• Familiarity with RAG systems or semantic search for enhancing LLM accuracy.

• Skills in data engineering and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

• Ability to design modular, scalable AI workflows for complex banking use cases.

• Expertise in integrating AI models with APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Kubeflow) for multi-step AI processes.

• Knowledge of RBC’s technical ecosystem or financial services workflows.

• Creativity in solving unstructured data challenges (e.g., dynamic report generation, email triage).
