As an Integration Engineer at Rowden, you will be responsible for helping our customers deploy cutting edge digital capability to frontline operational users. You will act as a crucial intermediary between government departments, technical partners, industry suppliers and end users. The role will require you to get hands-on with various tactical C4ISR systems and related technologies such as Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS).
Working closely with Systems Engineers, Software Engineers and Product Owners within our DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering team, you will demonstrate technical leadership to guide our government customers through the challenges associated with developing and fielding technology-intensive solutions to pressing operational challenges.
This role is customer-facing and will require regular visits to customer locations across the UK, and some short periods of international travel. Key areas of responsibility
As an Integration Engineer at Rowden, you will be responsible for:
- Planning, designing, documenting, and implementing integration processes.
- Maintenance, transport, configuration, and deployment of C4ISR and RAS systems.
- Requirements capture, discovery and development of Concepts of Use (CONUSE).
- Technical feasibility assessments and de-risking using Rowden’s integration facilities.
- Providing 1st line support, such as network configuration and bug reporting, for deployed users.
- Communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders, from the end users to the CTO.
- Scenario-based training, in both classroom and field environments, for deployed users.
