Job Description
Our paid Software Development Internship program typically lasts 6 months. It is an opportunity to deep dive into the software development environment and development techniques with one of our teams. You will work with full-time employees and industry professionals improving existing products in an Agile environment. You will work with a variety of software engineering knowledge areas including full development life cycle, Agile methodology, system design, test-driven development, test automation, build and configuration management. Each intern has a dedicated mentor to help navigate Rockwell, ramp up in our codebase, and remove daily blockers.
Your Responsibilities:
- Work on a dedicated project within the team.
- Deliver defined milestones.
- Learn by doing the project and from the team.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Basic software development skills.
- Basic knowledge of any programming language
- Czech or English language proficiency
- Active student status in the final year of a Master's or Bachelor's program
- Legal work and stay permits in Czech Republic.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language is required. This language can be Go language, TypeScript, or Playwright
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, including kubernetes, azure, cosmos db or azure service bus.
