Job Description
As an Engineer, Test, you will join a global quality engineering team responsible for validating and ensuring the quality of enterprise-level industrial software products. You will apply software testing fundamentals and gradually build automation skills while working closely with developers and experienced test engineers. You will report to a Engineering Manager/Lead and work based in Dalian, China.
Your Responsibilities:
- Participate in software testing activities, including functional, regression, and basic integration testing.
- Design and execute test cases based on requirements and expected system behavior.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts under guidance using mainstream automation frameworks.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and accurately log and track defects.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, demonstrating responsibility, ownership, and teamwork.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree or above (Class of 2026) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Understanding of basic software testing processes and principles, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with at least one mainstream programming language (Typescript preferred) and strong interest in pursuing a career in software testing.
- Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit.
- Good communication skills, with English reading and writing ability.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Familiarity with mainstream automation testing frameworks or tools.
- Hands-on experience in software testing through internships, academic projects, or training.
- Exposure to automation testing concepts or scripting for test automation.
- Interest in continuous learning and growth in quality engineering and test automation.
