Software Engineer III (UI Dev - React, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular, SASS)

Job Description Summary:

The Software Engineer-III designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software tools including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools. Determines software’s compatibility with hardware and/or influences software's design in relation to hardware. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Working closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and backend engineers to implement an elegant, easy-to-use frontend system. Taking lead in grooming calls, understanding feature, and Mentoring team members is necessary.
• Collaborating with Product owners, Architects, and the UX team to come up with useable and innovative interfaces to serve our customers.
• Translating mockups(wireframes) into functional requirements, writing well-abstracted, reusable, and high-performance code for UI components.
• Collaborating with back-end team members to ensure seamless integration and to meet design and functionality requirements
• Have the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Optimizing the front-end code for performance, including minimizing HTTP requests reducing page load times, and implementing best practices for faster rendering.

Required Qualifications:  

• Minimum 6 - 9 years of software engineering experience in front-end development, with a strong Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential.
• Expert in JavaScript (Es5/Es6), Advance JavaScript, Typescript, React(mandatory), Angular, React Hooks, and SASS is mandatory.
• Experience in writing unit test cases with the React testing library, jest.
• Knowledge of common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Proficiency in code versioning tools such as Git, Bitbucket, etc
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and consume it with Axios
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the best coding practices, Accessibility, and documentation.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good at communication and need to be a good team player.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum development team practices.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Writes code faster than the average developer. 
• Outstanding quality with few bugs in generated code. 

Education: 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
