Senior Software Engineer (Full Time; Multiple Opening)

This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for: Responsible for architecting and developing performant solutions to support RingCentral’s flagship unified communications product, which combines telephony, video, collaboration and messaging.

To succeed in this role you must meet the following requirements:

• Execute full lifecycle software development, from analyzing requirements, designing, implemen-tation, unit testing and integration with backend systems

• Lead engineering projects to develop ideas, roadmaps, technical foundation, architecture, and proof of concepts

• Work closely with the quality assurance team to review test plans and fix defects identified as part of the quality assurance process

• Work on improving the efficiency and performance of applications using browser built-in debugger and other profiling tools

• Lead the execution of projects by providing technical guidance and performing high-level technical work, code and design reviews as needed to ensure projects are completed properly and the products developed meet RingCentral’s quality and efficiency standards.

Desired Qualifications:

• U.S. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field, or foreign equivalent, plus two (2) years of related experience, or U.S. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience is required.

• Experience with JavaScript, Typescript, Node.js, React.js, Angular, jQuery, CSS, HTML, JSON, REST, Agile Development, TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, C, C++, Electron framework, Ses-sion Initiation Protocol (SIP), and WebRTC is required.
