Senior QA Engineer

This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for a Senior QA Engineer who will be based in Xiamen R&D center.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the quality of the products under test, working closely with developers and project teams to deliver RingCentral products.

• Come up with test plans and test strategy, execute and evaluate for manual and automated test cases.

• Design, develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks for various platforms (web, mobile).

• Monitor and report on the quality metrics of the product, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

• Collect, analyze and present test result.

• Report the discovered issues to development team and follow up on the closure.

• Explore and implement new tools, techniques, and processes to improve testing efficiency and quality, achieving technological breakthroughs.

Requirements:

Must Have:

1.Experience and Knowledge:

• 3~10 years of experience in QA, preferably within agile team environments.

• Knowledge of testing web, mobile and desktop applications.

• Proven track record of ensuring good product quality through your contribution in testing.

2.Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python).

• Experience with test automation runners and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Puppeteer, Appium, TestNG, JUnit).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

• Experience with version control systems like Git.

• Knowledge of database usage (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, and common network technology.

• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design pattern

3.Skills and Abilities:

• Great sense of ownership and accountability with a customer-centric and quality-oriented mindset.

• Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with developers, project teams and other stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Strong understanding of basic software testing principles and methodologies.

• Ability to optimize QA processes and improve team efficiency and product quality.
