Role Overview: We are seeking an entrepreneurial and nimble Senior Product Manager for our AI and Machine Learning initiatives. This person will spearhead our efforts to embed AI across Rightway’s business, identifying and executing on high-impact opportunities. As the first AI-focused Product Manager, you will take ownership of AI integration, working with a small team to deliver rapid, innovative solutions. You’ll need to think strategically while being comfortable rolling up your sleeves to execute quick, data-driven projects.

What You’ll Do:

  1. AI Strategy & Leadership (30%)
    • Lead the AI and machine learning roadmap, identifying and prioritizing AI-driven opportunities across care navigation, PBM, and clinical services.
    • Collaborate with business leaders to translate strategic objectives into actionable AI initiatives that enhance member experience, reduce costs, and improve healthcare outcomes.
    • Evangelize the potential of AI within the organization, educating stakeholders on AI concepts, and aligning teams to maximize AI’s impact across multiple touchpoints. You will be the resident expert on AI in the company, especially working closely with the other Product Managers to infuse AI applications throughout our entire product suite.
  1. Innovation & Delivery (70%)
    • Implement “quick and dirty” AI solutions by rapidly prototyping ideas, iterating based on user feedback, and testing in real-world conditions. You will be able to get products from prototype to production quickly, launching dozens of small and large features within the first 18 months.
    • Develop, refine, and optimize prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT to achieve desired business results. 
    • Fine tune LLMs using company-specific data
    • Own the full lifecycle of AI products, from concept to release, and iterate post-launch to maximize business value and user adoption.
    • Continuously track AI trends and emerging technologies to explore new ways of enhancing our platform.
    • Uncover opportunities across the organization by working closely with SMEs in every department, from finance to customer service. You will be able to solve generalized and messy business problems with discrete, tangible AI initiatives.
    • Test concepts before they are productized, and monitor adoption once they are. You will be able to pivot at any point in the product development lifecycle, including after launch to ensure that tools are being used and bringing value to the organization, not sitting on a shelf.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of product management experience with a recent track record of successfully launching multiple AI and ML products.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and excel at building from the ground up. This is a hands-on role with a bias for delivery.

Technical AI / ML Skills

  • Expertise in developing, refining, and optimizing prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT to achieve desired business results
  • Experience in fine-tuning LLMs using company-specific data
  • Strong understanding of machine learning techniques for training and optimizing language models
  • Ability to interpret and customize AI responses to align with specific business contexts (e.g., Rightway’s context)
  • Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) tools and techniques
  • Proficiency in model evaluation and and performance analysis
  • Knowledge of data preprocessing and transformation for AI model training
  • Problem-solving skills for improving LLM accuracy and relevance

Bonus Points for:

  • Experience working in healthcare or health tech, particularly around healthcare data or AI applications in clinical settings.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy benefits management (PBM) systems or care navigation platforms.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, or experience managing large datasets through data warehouses (like Rightway’s UDW approach).

SALARY (BEFORE BONUS POTENTIAL):  $190.000 - $210,000
