Senior Director of Product

Ribbon Health is seeking a Senior Director of Product to lead the build of complex data products that enable Ribbon to reach its mission of powering every care decision to be accessible, affordable, and high quality.

To help us achieve our mission, we are looking to hire a Senior Director of Product who has  experience building and scaling data-heavy product experiences and seeks to enable people to access affordable and high-quality care that is right for them. This is a full time hybrid role located in New York City and will report to our VP of Product.

As a key member of our Product team, here’s what you’ll do:

Key Outcomes: 

• Oversee the end-to-end product management of Ribbon’s product suite, including the development of a comprehensive product strategy that encompasses data, user interface, and algorithms, while setting and maintaining prioritization
• Partner with cross-functional leaders in articulating a compelling product vision, convert those ideas into well-scoped projects, prioritize smartly among competing efforts, and lead the team to execute at a high level
• Manage a team of product managers that are building data and workflow products to build a better healthcare system
• Communicate and evangelize our product strategy and roadmap to the organization and our customers

The most important skills for the role are*:

• 6+ years in Product Management, with some of your time spent building and scaling data-heavy product experiences
• 3+ years in Leadership, particularly managing product managers on a software product
• Adaptability: You are able to thrive in ambiguous environments. When the path forward is uncertain, you use an impact-oriented product mindset to create clarity for your team and the organization.
• Organization & Planning: You can put together cohesive roadmaps to support overarching company goals.
• Leadership: You have experience in leading teams and coaching others
• Scrappiness: You are willing to do what it takes for your product and team to be successful. No task is too small, you’re comfortable in the weeds, and you always put your team first
• Mission Driven: You have a strong desire to build in the complex domain of healthcare in our country

In addition to the above, it would be great if you also had: 

• Experience working with healthcare data, specifically data about healthcare providers and organizations

Compensation: 

We’re committed to an inclusive, consistent, and equitable approach to compensation and anticipate that this position will earn between $230k-245k annually. The exact salary will depend on the amount of relevant and transferable experience you bring to the role. You will also receive meaningful equity in the form of a stock option grant.
