Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer in Test with strong automation skills to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through both manual and automated testing. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to enhance our testing processes and deliver high-quality software.

As a Senior Engineer in Test, you will take part in designing and executing test plans, developing automated test cases, and contributing to the overall improvement of our QA strategies. Your role will include both manual testing tasks and leading efforts to expand our automation coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Robot, Selenium, and Playwright. Focus on creating scalable and reusable automation solutions.
  • Conduct manual testing when necessary to ensure comprehensive test coverage, especially in areas not yet automated.
  • Contribute to the development of testing strategies that incorporate both manual and automated testing. Participate in test planning, estimation, and prioritization of testing efforts.
  • Execute both manual and automated tests, analyze results, and report defects. Provide detailed reports on test coverage, performance, and quality metrics.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication of testing progress, issues, and results. Provide feedback on software quality and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, scripts, and results. Ensure that all testing activities are well-documented and aligned with project goals.

    • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a strong technical background
    • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on both manual and automated testing
    • Strong experience with test automation tools like Robot, Selenium, and Playwright
    • Solid experience in manual testing methodologies and practices
    • Experience with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins
    • Strong skills in debugging, troubleshooting, and solving technical challenges
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

Desirable:

  • Proficiency with Linux, including scripting and command-line tools, for testing and automation purposes
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as Docker, VMware, or Kubernetes for creating and managing test environments
  • Experience with performance testing tools and techniques to ensure scalability and reliability
