DevOps Engineer

Profile requirements:

We are looking for DevOps Engineers for permanent employment, preferably with a few years of experience within the field.

We need you to be able to:

• Work in accordance with the principles of Scrum (sprint-based SW development cycles)
• Analyze technological environments and SW requirements
• Develop SW solutions in Python and .NET Framework/Core
• Participate in setting up the high-level SW architecture
• Participate in solution prototype design work
• Participate in release management and technical dialogues with stakeholders
• Provide technical support to project managers
• Handle dependency management in Linux and Windows environments
• Present and pitch potential IT solutions to stakeholders
• Go the extra mile to bridge the gap between technical specialists and stakeholders who are less familiar with technical terminology

Required competencies:

• Experience with writing unit tests
• Cloud computing services (AWS and Azure)
• Experience with source control systems, such as Git
• Experience with DevSecOps, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with C#/.NET Framework/.NET Core, and ASP .NET MVC
• Experience with database design and development (MS SQL server, Oracle, Azure)
• An understanding of relational databases and agile SW development
• An understanding of CI/CD pipelines for the Microsoft .NET development stack
• Experience with C/C++, EPiServer, Jenkins and/or VMware Horizon is considered a bonus

We need a DevOps Engineer who:

• Is independent, proactive and flexible
• Understands how to apply a risk- and requirement-based approach to SW development
• Communicates well in both Swedish and English.

Personal characteristics will be of great importance since the DevOps Engineer will be part of a team that cooperates closely with different external stakeholders and customers.
