The Legal team is responsible for managing the legal affairs of the company, including providing legal counsel across the organization, handling disputes, and creating and enforcing intellectual property.

Join ResMed as a Program Coordinator, Data Protection and help advance privacy operations that protect sensitive information and support responsible healthcare growth. Working closely with the Head of Privacy, you will coordinate cybersecurity and privacy incident workflows, support HIPAA program implementation for newly acquired businesses, and create AI-enabled processes that make complex work more consistent and scalable.

This is a delivery-focused role, not a legal advisory or technical security position. You will bring structure to ambiguity, keep critical work moving, and ensure stakeholders have clear visibility into priorities, risks, decisions, and deadlines. The position is full-time and remote within the United States. Candidates outside the United States may be considered if they can maintain permanent U.S.-based working hours.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate privacy and cybersecurity incident workflows, ensuring evidence, decisions, remediation activities, and closure documentation are tracked accurately and completed on time.
• Maintain incident timelines, trackers, decision logs, playbooks, templates, checklists, and escalation paths to improve consistency and readiness.
• Identify missing inputs, delays, bottlenecks, and process gaps before they affect response timelines or documentation quality.
• Capture lessons learned after incidents and translate them into practical improvements for future response activities.
• Support the implementation and ongoing operation of HIPAA programs for newly acquired businesses, helping each organization establish clear and sustainable privacy practices.
• Track milestones, dependencies, risks, owners, training, audit readiness, and completion evidence to keep integration work moving.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Security, IT, HR, and business stakeholders to complete privacy onboarding and integration activities.
• Build and maintain project plans, dashboards, action trackers, issue logs, standard operating procedures, and repeatable workflows that give privacy leadership reliable visibility.
• Lead workstream meetings, prepare agendas, document decisions and actions, and follow through until commitments are complete.
• Use AI responsibly to organize information, develop initial documentation, streamline repeatable work, and increase operational capacity while protecting confidentiality and maintaining human oversight.
• Recommend improvements that reduce cycle time, strengthen handoffs, eliminate duplication, and improve documentation quality.

What You Bring

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Strong organization, documentation, communication, stakeholder coordination, and follow-through.
• The ability to manage competing priorities with urgency, accuracy, discretion, and sound judgment.
• Confidence creating structure, tracking detailed work, and communicating status clearly across multiple workstreams.
• Proficiency with collaboration, reporting, and productivity tools.
• Experience using AI tools to summarize and organize complex information, develop initial project documentation, or improve repeatable workflows.
• Intellectual curiosity and the learning agility to build fluency in privacy, cybersecurity, HIPAA, and compliance concepts.
• The judgment to work independently within defined responsibilities and escalate legal interpretation, risk acceptance, or leadership decisions appropriately.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to healthcare privacy, compliance operations, cybersecurity incident coordination, regulated project delivery, audit, quality, legal operations, or governance, risk, and compliance.
• Familiarity with HIPAA programs, acquisition integration, audit-readiness activities, or incident documentation.
• Experience improving workflows through automation or responsible use of AI.

Compensation and Benefits

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are based on the specific facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $56,000-$84,000 USD
