Sr Oracle HCM Integrations Developer

Location: BANGALORE METROPOLITAN AREA, KARNATAKA, India; Remote

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle HCM Integrations Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-wide integrations within the Oracle HCM Cloud ecosystem. This role will serve as a senior technical developer for HCM integrations, leveraging Boomi as the primary middleware platform to enable secure, scalable, and reliable data exchange between Oracle HCM Cloud and internal/external business applications.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle HCM integration technologies, collaborative skills with Boomi middleware, and a strong background in API-based and file-based integrations.

JOB DUTIES:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex Oracle HCM Cloud integrations using Boomi as middleware in accordance with enterprise architecture standards and development best practices.
• Develop and support inbound and outbound integrations utilizing Oracle HCM technologies including REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, HCM Extracts, HDL, HSDL, BI Publisher, XML, JSON, and XSLT.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs, interface specifications, data mappings, transformation rules, and integration workflows.
• Lead technical design sessions and provide subject matter expertise for Oracle HCM integration architecture and development.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production integration issues, data discrepancies, interface failures, and performance bottlenecks to ensure system reliability.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and SQL-based analysis to support troubleshooting and maintain data integrity across integrated systems.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, IT teams, and third-party vendors to support ongoing business initiatives and system enhancements.
• Support Oracle HCM quarterly releases by evaluating integration impacts, implementing required updates, and ensuring continued compatibility.
• Develop and execute unit testing, system integration testing, and deployment activities while adhering to organizational change management processes.
• Implement and maintain security controls, authentication protocols, API governance, and data protection standards across all integrations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, interface specifications, support procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in production support and lead root-cause analysis efforts for critical integration incidents.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and integration optimization to enhance operational efficiency and system performance.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4 to 7 years of experience developing integrations for Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Strong experience with Oracle HCM integration technologies including:
  • HCM Extracts
  • HDL (HCM Data Loader)
  • HSDL
  • REST APIs
  • SOAP Web Services
  • BI Publisher
• Experience with XML, JSON, XSLT, SFTP, and file-based integrations.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting production environments and resolving complex integration issues.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
