You won’t just implement specifications, you’ll play an active role in the entire product lifecycle—from brainstorming and discovery to prototyping, testing, and iterating. If you’re excited about building seamless, impactful UIs and UXs that redefine how people approach home renovation, this is the role for you.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Develop and maintain high-performance front-end features using React, ensuring a seamless user experience through efficient code and robust unit testing
- Collaborate with team members in Product, Design and QA to deliver scalable features that drive user engagement and retention
- Execute A/B tests and experiments on the front-end, iterating on features based on data-driven insights to maximize product impact
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to continuously optimize and refine the user interface for growth
- Contribute to product growth by translating user behavior and test results into actionable development strategies
- Conduct PR reviews and collaborate with fellow developers, ensuring high code quality and knowledge sharing across the team
- Problem-solve daily challenges that arise from working in a dynamic and growing startup environment
ABOUT YOU
- 3+ years of front-end development, with a strong focus on React and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles
- Hands-on experience with React testing libraries, including writing unit and end-to-end (E2E) tests to ensure code reliability
- Comfort with "no-code" tools to streamline development processes and boost efficiency
- Familiarity with GraphQL and Apollo is a plus for efficient data fetching and state management
- Experience working in a dynamic startup environment, where quick pivots and adaptability are key
- A growth-focused, results-driven mindset with a passion for using data to inform decisions and drive success
- Experience with A/B testing, data analysis, and optimization techniques to improve product performance and user engagement
- Understanding of metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of front-end changes is a plus
- Ability to own front-end development from concept to deployment, incorporating continuous feedback and experimentation
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and data teams

ABOUT US:
The demand for home renovations has never been stronger, yet, it's surprisingly difficult for a new homeowner to renovate. It can take a decade to build up enough home equity and savings to pay for a major renovation. As a result, recent homeowners do a lot of financially-suboptimal things to compensate like borrow from their 401k, rack up credit card debt, and use high-interest personal loans. Or they just live unhappily for years in a home that doesn't meet their family's needs.
But by completing a major renovation, homeowners are increasing the value of their home. Professional real estate investors leverage this After Renovation Value (ARV) to roll the increase in value into new properties all the time. But there hasn't been a great way for homeowners to take advantage of this. If homeowners had an ability to borrow against the ARV, they could increase their borrowing power up to 10x.
To meet this need, RenoFi created a platform that enables homeowners to borrow funds from RenoFi approved lenders in the form of the first home equity loan purpose-built for renovations! Unlike standard home equity loans, RenoFi Loans use the value of your home post-renovation which lets you borrow the most money at the best possible terms.
