What this job can offer you
This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal impact in the global employment space joining our Employer of Record (EOR) Operations team as EOR Business Operations Manager.
As a highly organized professional with a strong background in project management and business operations, you will oversee and drive the success of key technical partnership initiatives. This role will involve managing and growing technical partnership programs across the whole of EOR operations, ensuring seamless collaboration across Onboarding, Mobility, and Lifecycle teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas, build relationships, and align diverse teams to achieve common goals.
What you bring
- Experience in an Operations role, with demonstrable skills re: successfully improving business processes in a team, or across multiple teams.
- You possess top-notch project management skills - with demonstrated abilities to successfully manage multiple projects at the same time
- You are an exceptional written communicator, and default to clear and transparent asynchronous correspondence with peers and stakeholders
- You love automating manual processes - and have specific instances of process improvements by way of automation, that have helped improve operational outcomes or customer experiences in your team
- You have experience prioritizing work based on criticality to your team, or manager's objectives
- You feel comfortable generating and engaging with reporting content via business intelligence tools, and being able to review and make assessments/recommendations based on that data quickly. Experience with Sigma, Retool, Zendesk, or Google Sheets is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and continuously update standard operating procedures, workflows, and basic process maps for Remote’s technical partnerships
- Manage multiple projects, from ideation to execution, including requirements-gathering, design, build, measurement, and iteration
- Discover and assess proven EOR Operations best practices, and determine how to adapt and optimize for technical partnership processes and workflows
- Analyze the benefits and risks of partnership processes from the perspective of Onboarding, employee lifecycle, and global mobility
- Identify automation and process improvement opportunities
- Increase effectiveness and provide greater value to Remote’s customers and employees, by supporting business operations projects.
- Support the EOR Business Operations team's reporting, compliance, and data integrity initiatives
- Work closely and effectively with Partnerships, Product, Engineering, International Operations, Legal, and Customer Success Remote teams to ensure scalability, accuracy, and data integrity
- Be able to go from “scout to scale” and start things up and get things done
- Be an internal and external champion of Remote's values and the EOR team’s goals.

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce. We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.
The base salary range for this full-time position is between $35,350 to $79,550 USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
