About the Role

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will be responsible for challenging reliability and toil reduction projects. You will have hands-on experience through most SRE practices, a good understanding of distributed systems and their dependencies, and how to automate recovery to protect service levels. SREs are on-call and assist during incidents, contributing to process improvements through experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain system availability and performance
• Develop and implement automation tools to streamline processes
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure scalability and reliability of new features
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures
• Participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems

Requirements

• Strong background in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in SRE or DevOps
• Experience in maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of cloud service providers, especially Azure
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate with a team and demonstrate resourcefulness
• Excellent communication skills
