Job Description

Technical Requirements:

Very good at Java, Hadoop, Spark, MongoDB, Hive, Elastic Search and other Big data technologies

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Requirement design and understanding from different project stakeholders.
• Document the requirement understating and obtain client sign off.
• Solution design based on the requirement understanding.
• Development of the signed off requirements with appropriate technology tools based on the project requirements.
• Analysis, Coding, Integration, Development & Testing of new feature, as well as current feature support.
• Prepare High Level and Low Level design documents
• Review design documents adopting the best practices
• develop a common framework; plan a system/ application flow; design the components
• Review the coding adopting the best coding practices; using the latest technologies.
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Play role of onsite coordinator for the offshore development team.
• Communicate time lines, progress, delays etc back and forth from the offshore team to the client and vice versa.
• Work as the first-level escalation point for problems related to the offshore team
• Understand the high-level roadmap of the supported software products from client and communicating it to offshore team.
• Coordinate the processes used by offshore team and by the client by working closely with client side project manager.
• Defining the build-and-test environment with the client and offshore team.
• Work and co-ordinate with offshore team for change requests received from client including analysis and modification of current software design.

Qualifications

Bachelors and 4+ years of experience in Big Data Development
