Senior Frontend Engineer

Senior Frontend Engineer 

As a Senior Fronend Engineer at Rekor, you will be a key contributor to the development of our cutting-edge traffic management solution, while utilizing the latest technologies. 

You will design and implement features that will help our clients make the best data-driven decisions to improve road safety. 

In this role, you will be taking a significant part in a squad and working with designers, product managers, backend engineers and QA who value innovation, excellence, and teamwork. Your expertise in frontend development will drive the evolution of our platform, ensuring it remains at the forefront of the industry. Your contributions will directly impact on the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our customers. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Take a proactive role in a business-driven squad and own your domain. 
• Take ownership of features from design to deployment, including architecture and testing. 
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability. 
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX experts, designers, and product managers to create innovative products. 
• Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and coding standards are followed. 
• Mentor and guide other developers, providing technical leadership and support. 
• Work closely with backend developers to ensure seamless integration. 
• Ability to stay updated with the latest frontend and infrastructure trends, and a willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices. 

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience, ideally within a SaaS company. 
• 3+ years of experience with Angular, with proficiency in RxJS and Angular’s core concepts. 
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. 
• Extensive experience writing tests using frameworks like Jest/Jasmine. 
• Strong understanding of software design principles and state management architectures. 
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results in established timelines. 
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. 

Advantage: 

• Experience working with NX. 
• Experience with Storybook. 
• Familiarity with Cypress, GraphQL, Electron framework and AWS. 
• Experience with backend development, specifically with Nest.js and Node.js.
