We are seeking an experienced and motivated Programme Lead to oversee academic delivery, support staff and students, and ensure high-quality teaching across our programmes in Mumbai. This is a face-to-face leadership role requiring strong academic expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to an outstanding student experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of assigned programmes and modules, ensuring academic quality and consistency.

• Support and supervise lecturers and associate staff, ensuring high standards of teaching, assessment, and student engagement.

• Oversee curriculum delivery, update teaching materials, and ensure compliance with programme specifications.

• Manage assessment processes, including setting, moderating, verifying, and ensuring timely feedback.

• Monitor student performance, engagement, and progression, addressing concerns and signposting support where appropriate.

• Contribute to quality assurance, including programme evaluations, accreditation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Engage in scholarship to maintain subject expertise and support teaching innovation.

• Coordinate academic operations, including timetabling, programme committee activities, placements, and external academic events.

• Support student recruitment, academic interviews, and promotional activities.

Essential Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.

• Strong experience in higher education teaching, curriculum delivery, and quality assurance.

• Demonstrated academic leadership or coordination experience.

• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and lead teams effectively.

• High digital capability, including use of VLEs and technology-enhanced learning tools.

• Commitment to student success, professional development, and institutional values.

• Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends.

Desirable

• PhD (or working towards).

• Experience with research, enterprise, or external partnerships.

• Membership of relevant professional bodies.

• Experience leading quality enhancement initiatives.

Additional Information

This is a fully on-campus position based in Mumbai, with some travel across sites as needed. A commitment to widening participation, academic excellence, and continuous improvement is essential.
