Role Overview

We are looking for a builder at heart — someone who gets excited about creating products, solving hard problems, and shaping technology from first principles.

This role is not about traditional engineering management or delivery oversight.

We want someone who:

Thinks like a product builder
Approaches problems with curiosity and first-principles thinking

Loves shipping fast and learning faster

You will lead the engineering vision while actively shaping the architecture, culture, and velocity of our technology teams.

This is a core leadership role at Reelo as we scale exponentially.

What You’ll Do (Engineering & People Leadership)

Define and drive the engineering vision, architecture, and technical roadmap aligned with the company’s product and growth goals.
Own engineering hiring and org design, helping scale the team as the company grows.
Solve complex product and engineering challenges, designing scalable architecture for a rapidly growing SaaS platform.
Collaborate closely with product and design teams to turn ideas into shipped features and deliver value to customers quickly.
Drive speed and continuous improvement by optimizing development workflows, systems, and engineering processes.
Think like a founder — own outcomes, balance long-term architecture with short-term execution, and make technology decisions that enable rapid company growth.

What We're Looking For

A builder mindset — someone who enjoys creating, shaping, and evolving products and engineering systems from the ground up.
Curiosity and a drive to improve — constantly questioning how things can be built better, faster, and more efficiently.
First-principles thinking — challenges conventional approaches and is comfortable experimenting with new technologies and ideas.
Strong technical depth with experience building and scaling B2B SaaS platforms, including system architecture and distributed systems.
Hands-on engineering leadership — comfortable diving into technical discussions while leading the team.

Must Have (Technical Skills)

8–10 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong track record of building and scaling products.
Proven experience scaling SaaS platforms, engineering systems, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong product intuition with a customer-first mindset, able to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Solid experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) and AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
Exposure to or experience integrating AI capabilities, including LLM-based systems, into modern product or engineering workflows.
