Electrical Engineers (various levels)
Our client is developing fully autonomous flying robots designed to operate in complex, high-stakes environments across industries such as public safety, energy, transportation, and national security.
Their platforms combine artificial intelligence, onboard sensing, advanced imaging systems, connectivity, and tightly integrated hardware/software stacks to enable real-time decision-making and navigation in dynamic environments. These systems are used by first responders, utility inspectors, and defense personnel to safely capture critical data, improve situational awareness, and operate more effectively in time-sensitive or hazardous conditions.
They are seeking Electrical Engineers (all levels) to help architect and develop the electrical systems that underpin their autonomous robotics platforms.
Responsibilities
Define electrical architecture for complex embedded electro-mechanical systems
Design and integrate logic, interconnect, sensing, RF, and power systems
Support integration of advanced cameras and imaging electronics
Work with mobile SoCs in connected robotic platforms
Incorporate design-for-manufacturing considerations for scaled production
Develop and execute validation plans for system electronics
Troubleshoot reliability, yield, and performance challenges through development into production
Requirements
Experience shipping high-volume electronic products
Experience with mobile SoC design
High-speed digital design experience
Familiarity with connected systems (WiFi, cellular, etc.)
Experience troubleshooting EMI/RF challenges
Familiarity with scripting or programming (Python/C preferred)
Strong problem-solving ability in hardware–software integrated systems
