We're looking for a talented and passionate a Senior QA Engineer to join one of RealPlay’s exciting new projects.

The role

Own end-to-end quality across the platform: web, native iOS and Android, backend services, database, and analytics. Define and run the testing process:

strategy, coverage, automation, and release readiness for a product built around subscriptions, payments, and sensitive user data.

This is an in-office role based in Tel Aviv.

What you'll own

Test strategy and process - test plans, coverage maps, regression suites, release checklists, and quality gates.

Web and mobile - responsive web and native iOS and Android, across devices, browsers, and OS versions.

Backend and API - endpoint testing, third-party integrations, error handling, and log analysis.

Database validation - SQL-based verification of data integrity across user, subscription, and transaction records.

Subscriptions and payments - signup, renewal, upgrade and downgrade, cancellation, failed payments and retries, refunds, chargebacks, coupons, and

proration.

Sensitive data and permissions - personal data, identity verification, payment details, roles, and access control.

Analytics and event tracking - validation of event firing, naming, parameters, and downstream delivery to the analytics stack.

Test automation - design, build, and maintain automated coverage for web, mobile, and API, integrated into CI.

AI-assisted testing - apply AI tools to test case generation, test data creation, log analysis, and automation development.

Defect management - reporting, prioritization, tracking, and verification, working directly with development, product, and data.

Requirements

Must have

• 5+ years of QA experience on consumer web and mobile products

• Experience defining test strategy and building a QA process independently

• API testing and log analysis

• SQL at a level sufficient to independently validate data and investigate issues

• Hands-on testing of payment flows and recurring subscription billing

• Native mobile QA on iOS and Android: real devices, TestFlight and Firebase distributions, proxy debugging tools

• Building test automation from scratch (Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent)

• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD

• Practical use of AI tools within the QA workflow

• Experience validating analytics and event tracking implementations

Nice to have

• Domain experience in sweepstakes, gaming, lottery, fintech, or e-commerce

• Stripe payments integration
