We’re looking for a Mid-Senior DevOps Engineer to own and scale our cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be responsible for production reliability, CI/CD automation, security, and performance across our platform. This role requires deep hands-on experience in GCP, modern DevOps practices, and strong knowledge of infrastructure, networking, and cloud security. Experience with Cloudflare (WAF/CDN) is highly important.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable infrastructure on GCP (GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, IAM, VPC).
- Manage load balancers, networking, DNS, and traffic routing for high availability.
- Own Cloudflare setup including WAF, CDN, caching, and DDoS protection.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions.
- Support and operate production databases including PostgreSQL and caching systems like Redis.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause analysis.
Requirements
- 3+ years of DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (must-have).
- Experience with Kubernetes (GKE preferred) and containerized workloads.
- Experience managing PostgreSQL, Redis, and production-grade backend systems.
- Strong understanding of WAFs, load balancers, networking, and security best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
