Reality Defender seeks a senior software engineer with data and system architecting experience to join the Data Engineering team. You would work on designing and building out a scalable robust infrastructure for data ingestion, storage, and sampling.

Responsibilities
- Design and build data storage, preprocessing, and organization infrastructure from the ground up.
- Implement and maintain versioning processes for both data and datasets.
- Automate data augmentation, quality control, and content moderation.
- Write clear, maintainable code and tests that adhere to software best practices.
- Mentoring junior developers and promoting cross-functionality with the AI teams.

- BS in Computer Science (or similar area with a heavy computational/algorithmic focus).
- At least 5 years of work experience in software, including experience with system architecting.
- Proficient with design patterns, cloud infrastructure, and databases (both SQL and NoSQL).
- Proficient with Python, NodeJS, Typescript.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to the fast-changing needs of a rapidly growing startup.
- Experience working with very large dataset and deep learning APIs, including Pandas, PyTorch, PySpark, etc.
- Experience working with audio, visual, and/or text datasets and models.
- Experience working in data science or MLOps.
- Interest in data exploration, visualization, and cleaning for real-world data modeling.
- Solid understanding of linear algebra, statistics, and deep learning concepts.
