This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds – flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be 2-3 per week averaging 10-12 days per month in our St Petersburg, FL Corporate Office.

Responsibilities:
Oracle Database Development: Create and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and database schemas
Database Optimization: Analyze and optimize database performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and storage
CI/CD Implementation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools to automate the build, test, and deployment processes
Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all projects
Plan and Execute Development Projects: Collaborate with both the technology team and our Business Partners throughout the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and level 2 support, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Technical Skills/Experience:
Experience with Oracle SQL including analytics and windowing functions, dynamic SQL and set operations
Experience with PL/SQL development including packages, procedures, functions, pipelined table functions and other database objects
Oracle SQL performance tuning using profiling tools, optimizer hints, query refactoring, table partitioning, and index design (including index-organized tables)
Understanding of Oracle's automatic and manual locking mechanisms
Experience with developing custom exception handling in PL/SQL
Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
Experience with job scheduler tools such as BMC Control-M
Proven track record working in both waterfall and agile SDLC frameworks
Knowledge of the Financial Services industry including middle and back-office functions
Experience in collaborating with business counterparts to understand detailed requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Oracle APEX for low-code development
Experience with SQL Server and MS Access
Experience with web application development using java and Angular
Experience with Unix and Shell scripting
Experience with cloud technologies like AWS
Understanding of data governance frameworks
