About the role

RavenPack is looking for a Senior Security Administrator who takes ownership. You'll run key security processes from start to finish, lead incident investigations and post-mortems, improve how we detect and respond to threats, and help grow junior team members. We want someone who cares about results and reducing risk, not just closing tickets.

What you'll do

• Run vulnerability management for your assigned systems, from scanning and prioritisation through to verified fixes.

• Lead investigations and post-incident reviews, and make sure follow-up actions get done.

• Tune detection, endpoint and web application firewall controls to cut noise and raise signal quality.

• Work with IT, Cloud, Engineering and Product teams to get fixes delivered.

• Automate repetitive work across identity, ticketing and reporting.

• Build dashboards and reports for the team and for stakeholders.

• Support compliance and audit activities for the controls you own.

• Mentor junior Security Administrators.

What you'll bring

• At least 3-5 years in security operations, security administration or a similar role. Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR, vulnerability scanning and WAF technologies.

• Working knowledge of network security, identity and access management, and cloud environments such as AWS.

• Scripting skills (Python or Bash) for automation and data work.

• Experience configuring ITSM tools, ideally Jira Service Management, including workflows and automation.

• Ability to prioritise risk using CVSS, asset criticality and threat intelligence.

• Experience using AI tools to identify and remediate threats

• Clear written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with SIEM/SOAR, or with container and serverless security.

• Exposure to ISO 27001 or SOC 2.

• Relevant certifications (e.g. Security+, CySA+, AWS Security Specialty, or vendor certifications).
