OverviewĀ
We are seeking an experienced Linux Software Engineer to support multi-location project initiatives focused on modernizing software infrastructure. This role emphasizes migrating existing applications and developing new projects within containerized environments and cloud platforms.Ā
Key ResponsibilitiesĀ
- Design, develop, andĀ maintain software applications using modern development practices and frameworksĀ
- Create and manage containerization workflows implementingĀ DevSecOpsĀ principles and CI/CDĀ
pipelinesĀ
- Plan and execute deployments to Kubernetes clusters, ensuring system stability, scalability, and reliabilityĀ
- Facilitate the transition of legacy applications into modern container-based architecturesĀ
Required QualificationsĀ
- Programming: StrongĀ proficiencyĀ in Python for application development and automation scriptingĀ
- Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker,Ā Podman, and Kubernetes orchestrationĀ
- DevOps Tools: Practical knowledge of Git version control, CI/CD pipeline development, andĀ DevSecOpsĀ methodologiesĀ
Preferred QualificationsĀ
- Cloud Platforms:Ā Demonstrated experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Ā
- Experience with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD pipeline configurationĀ
- Proven ability toĀ leverage Al-assisted development tools for code generation and optimizationĀ
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsĀ
- Excellent technical writing skills for creating andĀ maintaining comprehensive documentationĀ
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management practicesĀ
