You will join our Water department

As our new Senior / Principal Engineer – Process, Water you will be part of Water team. As a member of the Water team will be responsible for carrying out the water and wastewater treatment plant design and carrying out the design check of the drawings produced by CAD technicians/Modellers in the team and maintaining the quality of deliverables

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Senior/Principal Engineer shall co-ordinate with Team Lead/Project Manager and Assistant Engineer/Technical Manager/Senior Principal/Lead Engineer and be primarily involved in delivering the scheduled tasks in the form of Process and Hydraulic Design and 2D drawings /3D Model.

We are looking for self-motivated team members who meet the following requirements:

  1. BE/B. Tech degree in Civil/Chemical Engineering from an institute of repute. ME/ M. Tech in Environmental Engineering would be desirable,
  2. Should have 6 to 12 years of experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant design. Knowledge of design codes like German ATV Standards/ DIN / any other international standards would be desirable,
  3. Knowledge and understanding of principles of Wastewater Treatment Technology like Conventional ASP with Nitrogen and Phosphorus Removal, CASP with Power Generation, Extended Aeration Process like MLE, A20, Sequencing Batch Reactor and Advanced Treatment with MBR and MBBR/IFAS would be mandatory,
  4. Knowledge on Advanced Water Treatment /Desalination with good knowledge on MF, UF, RO, Mixed Bed Polishing, ZLD would be desirable,
  5. Knowledge and understanding of principles of Conventional and Advanced Water Treatment Technology like Ozone, Biological Activated Carbon Gravity Filter would be desirable,
  6. Having good knowledge on preparing Flow and Mass Balance, Process Design and Equipment Sizing, Hydraulic Design Calculation, Hydraulic Flow Diagram, Plant Layout, Process and Instrumentation Diagram etc would be desirable,
  7. Having good knowledge of Mechanical General Arrangement Drawings of various components of WTP, WWTP and Pump Station would be desirable,
  8. Having good knowledge on Bill of Quantities estimation and Costing would be desirable,
  9. Knowledge and understanding of principles of water and wastewater treatment designs in Indian and international environment. Knowledge of Basic Engineering and Detailed Engineering Design of WTP, WWTP / CETP along with Pump station is desirable.
  10. should have hands on experience in using any of the design/drawing software (AutoCAD 2D and MS Excel) is desirable. Preference will be given if the candidate having experience on AutoCAD Plant 3D Software.
  11. in addition to technical / functional acumen, he should have good communication skills
  12. Should be a team player and should coordinate within the team for timely delivery of project

Professional English language skills (written and verbal).

 

Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: Good Team Player, Good Interpersonal skills, having in depth knowledge about the subject etc.

Qualifications

Qualification:

Master’s in Environmental Engineering (Preferable) or BE/BTech in Civil / Chemical Engineering (Minimum).

Mandatory Skills Requires: Experience in Preparing Detailed Process Design and Drawings related to Pump station, Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants (Municipal and Industrial)

Software Skills: AutoCAD 2D (Mandatory) and AutoCAD Plant 3D (Optional)

Experience: 6-12 Years
