Are you driven by working at the intersection of cybersecurity, governance, and ethics in a global organisation?

If this sounds like you, or you’re curious to learn more, then this role could be the perfect opportunity. Join our Global Information Security Governance & Assurance team as our new Senior Lead Analyst – Cyber Investigations & Assurance and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.

Your new role

As our new Senior Lead Analyst – Cyber Investigations & Assurance, you will play a key role in supporting Ramboll’s response to cyber incidents, SpeakUp cases, and other sensitive investigations. You will be part of the Global Information Security Governance & Assurance area, reporting under Sankaran, and working closely with stakeholders across Legal, HR, Risk, and Technology.

You will act as Ramboll’s internal investigation coordinator and assurance lead, ensuring that incidents and allegations are handled professionally, consistently, and in line with defined governance, SLAs, and regulatory expectations. External specialist partners will support execution when independence, scale, or specialist expertise is required.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Coordinating and supporting cyber incident, SpeakUp, and other investigation activities, including intake, triage, escalation, and case management
  • Owning investigation governance, documentation standards, evidence handling requirements, and SLA oversight
  • Managing and overseeing external forensic and investigation partners, including readiness, activation, and quality assurance
  • Supporting assurance and audit-related activities within Global Information Security Governance & Assurance, ensuring independence and avoiding self-review
  • Driving continuous improvement of incident management, investigation procedures, and assurance frameworks
  • Lead end-to-end cyber investigations including:
  • Incident response support
  • Insider threat investigations
  • Data breach analysis and root cause determination
  • Design and lead enterprise-wide red team exercises:
  • Full-scope adversary emulation (APT simulation)
  • Cloud, network, application, and identity attack scenarios

About you

  • Experience working with cyber incidents, investigations, forensics, compliance, audit, or assurance in a complex organisation
  • Strong understanding of governance, independence, and confidentiality in sensitive cases
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and external partners under time pressure and strict SLAs
  • Sound judgement, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • Experience in delivering red team and adversary simulation reports

What we can offer you

  • Flexible work environment with the possibility of working from home a few days a week
  • Commitment to your professional and personal development
  • Leaders guided by our Leadership Principles
  • A culture that welcomes you as the unique person you are
  • Inspiration from colleagues, clients, and projects
  • The long-term thinking of a foundation-owned company
